Coin Silver Hand Minted cca 1500s Medieval Hungarian Rare Numismatics Collectible
This is a rare, hard to find medieval coin from the middle ages. It was issued by one of the king of Hungary and other lands. The coin was minted from Hungarian silver in the thousand year old Hungarian mining and royal mint town of "Kormoc Banya". The front side of the coin is marked by the capital K and B, surrounding the Virgin Mary patron of Hungary. Since the infamous Trianon "piece treaty" Kormoc Banya is no longer part of Hungary.
As shown on the photo the coin is hand struck, like most of the coins from that time. It is a well made, in good shape (for its age) and it is a beautiful old collectible. It had a substantial purchase power at it's time and these coins not circulated all that much. First come first serve only one available.
