EKA Reform Three Tube Radio 1936 Vintage Restoration Data Picture Schematic

In spite of its imposing look, this is a EKA Reform was a low price, simple basic receiver, a three tube, three band radio set from 1936. It was a reflex feedback audion straight receiver without IF frequency amplification. The first tube is used as RF [Radio Frequency] and AF [Audio Frequency] amplifier. Designed to be used with a good long antenna on MW [Medium Wave] SW [Short Wave] and LW [Long Wave] it was a very dependable set. The radio is housed in a a large stylish enclosure and an illuminated wide colored glass scale with the European city names marked for each strong station. This exact set was also sold by the Standard Company under the name Darling.
