This is an original Sylvania 6AF4A High-Mu Triode electronic tube. This tube is useable as local oscillator in VHF television receivers in the range of 470-890 MHz. A High-Mu triode can be used for many other special purpose circuits like oscillators and RF amplifiers, for replacement, antique radio or television restoration projects, circuit research, experimentation or to set up a private vacuum tube museum.
