This is a quality made, precision, miniature, PM [Permanent Magnet] DC motor that is made to direct drive a computer hard drive multiple platter assembly. This fully shielded motor runs super quiet with very low power but it requires a driver IC or circuitry. This motor has eight wires and they are attached to an eight point solder strip.
