This is a precisely made, Sankyo low Voltage DC motor BFJ9B01D with shock mounts. Motor numbers on the body: BFJ9B01D and 30926A. The 2 millimeter diameter shaft has an attached brass pulley. The two terminal motor begins to rotate at 0.5 Volt, while it's no-load current is around 0.05 Amperes. This motor is capable to drive many different loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
